The EU Tourism Platform has featured “The Voice of the Towers”, an audiovisual initiative developed by our partner University of Granada as part of the project’s pilot activities, highlighting its innovative approach to Mediterranean cultural tourism.
Across its five episodes “The Voice of the Towers” brings the medieval watchtowers and defensive towers of Poniente Granadino, Andalusia, to life. The series blends fiction, historical interpretation and documentary storytelling, inviting audiences to discover the region’s rich history, distinctive landscapes and local identity through a fresh and engaging perspective.
The experience is further enriched by a multilingual interactive digital guide, featuring maps, suggested routes and multimedia resources that encourage visitors to explore the towers and their surrounding heritage in person.
