HERIT ADAPT exhibition showcasing innovative 3D heritage models in Montenegro

From 5–20 May 2026, the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro hosted the HERIT ADAPT Exhibition of the Žabljak Crnojevića 3D Model, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore the country’s cultural heritage through innovative digital technologies.
The exhibition featured detailed 3D virtual models of the Žabljak Crnojevića Fortress, Orlov Krs, and the Summer Stage, demonstrating how digital tools can support the preservation, interpretation, and promotion of cultural heritage. Visitors also learned about the objectives, activities, and achievements of the HERIT ADAPT project and its contribution to sustainable and resilient tourism across the Mediterranean.
 
Over the course of the exhibition, more than 200 citizens and visitors experienced these interactive digital reconstructions, highlighting the growing potential of digital heritage to engage wider audiences and make cultural assets more accessible.
 
The exhibition showcased how innovative technologies can help preserve the past while creating new opportunities for education, tourism, and community engagement.
