The event took place on a highly symbolic date, coinciding with two significant occasions: the 150th anniversary of the April Uprising, and the International Workers’ Day. Against this inspiring backdrop, participants and guests explored how cultural heritage can adapt to climate change while remaining a living, resilient, and engaging part of local communities.
The Information Day offered a valuable opportunity for the project team to present the project’s vision, activities, and expected impact. Visitors, local residents, and stakeholders were actively informed about its goals and progress, sparking strong interest and lively discussions and fostering a shared sense of responsibility for heritage protection.
The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Pavlin Petrov, Deputy Minister of Tourism of Bulgaria, whose participation highlighted the importance of sustainable cultural tourism and the strong institutional support for initiatives that connect heritage preservation with innovation and resilience.
