12/06/2026

On 11 June 2026, a communication event was held in Koprivshtitsa as part of HERIT ADAPT, bringing together members of the territorial working group, local stakeholders, and representatives of the community, to highlight the project’s efforts to promote and preserve the cultural heritage.

Participants were introduced to three newly produced informational videos featuring the Mausoleum-Ossuary of the Apriltsi Insurgents together with other significant historical and cultural landmarks in Koprivshtitsa. The videos aim to increase public awareness of the town’s rich heritage and encourage its sustainable preservation.

The newly installed indoor humidity and temperature sensors within the Mausoleum-Ossuary were also presented. The monitoring system will collect valuable data on the monument’s microclimate, providing essential information to support scientific analysis and inform future conservation and renovation activities and contributing to the long-term protection and resilience of this important cultural heritage site.

The communication event reaffirmed the project’s commitment to combining innovative technologies with community engagement to safeguard cultural heritage for future generations.
