EU Project Open Days – Croatia

05/10/2024

The Croatian Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds is hosting “EU Project Open Days” in Croatia from October 5th to 20th 2024. As part of this initiative, the Dubrovnik Development Agency (DURA), the City of Dubrovnik, and Dubrovnik Museums organized a presentation of projects under the Interreg Euro-MED program. They introduced a multimedia guide developed through the HERIT-DATA project (Interreg MED) and announced upcoming activities in Dubrovnik Museums as part of the Cool Noons and HERIT ADAPT projects (Interreg Euro-MED).

As part of the HERIT ADAPT project, citizens were introduced to activities that involve creating a detailed 3D model of the Rector’s Palace in Dubrovnik. This model serves as a “digital twin” of the cultural monument, providing a realistic and accurate representation of the structure. Additionally, sensors will be installed to monitor the impact of climate change on the building’s structure in real time, allowing for proactive preservation efforts based on real time data.
