The 6th HERIT ADAPT Project Meeting and Steering Committee was successfully held on 10 February 2026 in Limassol, Cyprus, at the premises of the Limassol Chamber of Commerce. Hosted by project partner Limassol Tourism Development and Promotion Company, the meeting brought together consortium representatives to review progress and strengthen their shared commitment to enhancing cultural heritage resilience through digital innovation and sustainable solutions.
Partners reflected on the successful implementation of pilot actions completed in 2025, showcasing how digital tools can support the preservation, interpretation, and promotion of cultural heritage sites. By integrating advanced technologies with sustainable tourism strategies, HERIT ADAPT is helping make heritage assets more accessible, engaging, and resilient to environmental and social challenges.
The Steering Committee session ensured strategic alignment for the next phase of the project, while reaffirming the consortium’s common vision: to safeguard cultural heritage and generate long-term value for local communities across the Mediterranean region.
Beyond the formal discussions, the meeting also provided a valuable opportunity for partners to reconnect in person, strengthen collaboration, and continue building innovative pathways that link heritage conservation with sustainability.
